EAI BROADNETS 2024 invites Poster submissions.
The objective of this track is to provide the PhD students with a platform to share their ideas and research works and get comments suggestions from the international audience. We encourage the authors to use the Posters venue as a way to open up discussions with the scientific community about their early work in progress and develop the work for future publication and innovation. Posters aim at reporting on the progress of ongoing research and insights into the lessons learned from the most recent and current projects.
Scope
The current roll-out of 5G mobile internet networks continue to drive forward smart services, machine-to-machine communications, and connected transport. The city’s technology industry focus includes the cloud, big data analytics, and mobility – most notably in the field of autonomous transport. With the evolution of 5G over the last few years, the term ‘5G’ means different things to different groups. To the consumer it’s all been about faster public networks and downloads via 5G NSA (non-standalone); for the new use-cases the endeavor was to build upon high speeds and ultra-low latency facility, building machine to machine and private networks; and for the R&D community effort went in to evolving new software defined radio (SDR) algorithms and PHY solutions and applicable use cases. However, the 5G SA (standalone) private networks revolution did not move to deployment as quickly as hoped. opens the era of the Internet of Everything. Visible Light Communication (VLC) and Light Fidelity (LiFi) technologies are among the potential candidates that are expected to be utilized in the future 5G networks due to their indoor energy-efficient communications. The scope of this conference is the 5G-enabled digital society. As one of the important infrastructures of the digital economy, some important progresses in key technologies have been made for 5G network. For different digital social scenarios, key technologies, scenarios and practical application systems derived from the combination of 5G, big data, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence technologies. In addition, 5G network and information security for the digital society is also one of the focuses of this conference. It brings together thought leaders from industry, academia and other institutions to exchange information and ideas on advancing the state-of-the-art in wireless communications and networking.

Publication
Accepted and presented posters will be submitted for publication by Springer and made available through SpringerLink Digital Library. Posters will be published as a part of the EAI BROADNETS 2024 Conference Proceedings. Proceedings will be submitted for inclusion in leading indexing services, including Ei Compendex, ISI Web of Science, Scopus, CrossRef, Google Scholar, DBLP, as well as EAI’s own EU Digital Library (EUDL).
Submission
Papers should be submitted through EAI ‘Confy+‘ system, and have to comply with the Springer format (see Author’s kit section).
Poster submissions should be a maximum of 4 pages including references, figures, tables, and appendix. Note that submissions are accepted only in PDF format. Please note that a shorter version of already published work will be rejected.
Review Criteria
The poster will be peer-reviewed and rated for acceptance using the following criteria:
- Relevance to conference vision/topics and attendees
- Applicability of the project in real-world scenarios
- Potential to bring in participants to the conference from different audiences
- The overall quality of contribution
- Provides a hands-on, collaborative, and/or active learning environment for attendees
Presentations
Accepted posters will be allocated 10 minutes for an interactive poster presentation at the conference. The posters will be assessed based on technical merit and presentation quality. One poster will be selected for each of the following awards:
